Product Strategy Manager

Profile

Cirrus Logic are looking for a talented Strategy Manager to help drive the creation of new and exciting business opportunities involving next generation high-performance mixed-signal electronics. You'll be part of a cross-functional and highly collaborative team that searches for exciting greenfield business opportunities, evaluates them for their business merits, and incubates the most promising ideas into product and market opportunities.
As a Strategy Manager, you will be assigned a strategic theme within either automotive, industrial, medical, power, communications, or the consumer electronics domain, and be the owner and driver, responsible for identifying, prioritising, validating, and ultimately translating ideas into business strategies.
Responsibilities
Explore greenfield ideas and business opportunities to identify growth engines.
Lead business exploration, innovation, prototyping and incubation activities within specific strategic theme(s).
Analyse markets, resolving suitability and fit to the company strategy.
Define market hypotheses and theories of value for novel products, services, and business models.
Lead rapid experimentation and customer validation cycles to validate hypotheses and to generate practical insights.
Communicate opportunities and progress to key stakeholders.
Translate novel ideas into tangible new product opportunities and business strategies for Cirrus.
Keep abreast of market trends, new technologies and business start-ups.
Required Skills and Qualifications
BS, MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Business Management (or related fields) with experience in building new products lines in mixed-signal semiconductor products
Significant experience in developing new products and/or business opportunities for mixed signal electronics.
Experience in leading cross-functional teams and rapid experimentation.
Ability to produce high-quality strategy memos and presentations in English.
Ability to move fluently between wide business strategies and product/customer level details.
Growth mindset, with an appetite for continuous learning.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Experience in Lean Development / Lean Start-up methodologies, including iterative rapid experimentation.
Experience in Business Design and/or Business Development activities.
Experience in (corporate) venture capital investments and start-up activities.
An innovative and creative problem solver, strong at pattern recognition.
Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to manage a changing workload.
This position can be based in Edinburgh, Newbury or London
This is a hybrid position and will follow a 2 day in-office work schedule, with in-office days based on business needs and team preference. You must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate prior to beginning employment with Cirrus Logic.
