Business Development Account Manager

: Capitol Broadcasting Company is seeking a Business Development Account Manager to join our Sunrise sales department. Sunrise Account Managers identify and work with local businesses to uncover specific goals and strategically develop marketing solutions that deliver results.
This individual will take a hands-on approach to uncovering businesses across the area that can be assisted by the services we provide.
The ideal candidate will be outgoing and eager to build new relationships. The ideal candidate will also have some media or sales experience with the drive, desire and hunger to grow into a dynamic account manager.
Responsibilities
Identify prospects across the market and make contact with prospective clients to secure client needs analysis meetings Create interest in our unique market position, services, and handle any objections that are created Create & present strategic marketing campaigns inclusive of radio,tv and/or digital advertising assets. Update and maintain complete CRM reporting Provide impeccable customer focused service & support to prospective and existing accounts
Recommended Skills and Attributes
Intuitive selling and rapport building Active listening and ability to lead an engaging conversation Time management skills and the ability to schedule and coordinate multiple meetings Engaging personality with a growth mindset The ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively Experience with MS Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel and Word Experience working with Photoshop is a plus A college degree or equivalent experience preferred
