We’re looking for a highly collaborative, outcome-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help us build and scale the sales engine as a key driver of revenue and develop an incredibly successful, long-term career at Zuora.
As an SDR you are the front line of our sales process, working hand in hand with a cross functional team to build a pipeline of qualified leads within targeted geographies and market segments. You’ll navigate through organizations, doing deep discovery and passionately speaking to multiple decision makers, often at the c-suite level. You’ll leverage your entire toolbox of cold calls, emails, campaigns and social selling tools to identify customers ready to unlock new growth for their business
and seamlessly handoff qualified leads to our Account Executive Sales team. This is an entry-level role with a dedicated growth path and the training to be a great technical sales professional. Be challenged and supported as a salesperson to grow as you’ll be surrounded by some of the brightest and most visionary people both in and outside of Zuora.

What you’ll do & achieve:
Complete Zuora’s in depth onboarding and sales training and maintain expert knowledge of Zuora’s messaging, products and services and unique sales approach
Generate new business opportunities to fuel Zuora’s pipeline and growth
Collaborate with and leverage teammates (Sales Management, Account Executives, Marketing, Product, etc.) to develop targeted lists, call strategies and messaging to drive opportunities
Utilize business and industry knowledge to research and develop accounts accounts, identify key players, generate interest, create/identify compelling events, etc.
Outbound prospecting to companies via cold calls, email, marketing campaigns, social selling, etc.
Conduct high-level discovery and educational conversations with Senior Executives (C-Level, VP/Director) in target accounts
Exceed monthly/quarterly quotas for Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)
Manage, track, and report on all activities and results using Salesforce
What you’ll need to be successful:
Interest in a career in Sales or in Sales Leadership
1 years of experience in Sales Development, Operations, Sales, and/or Finance preferred
Knowledge of business process, roles, and organizational structure
Ability to work in a high-energy, collaborative sales team environment; a true team player
Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
A self-starter with a track record of successful, credible achievements
Passionate about technology, business, and winning
Proficient in using Salesforce, LinkedIn and cold-calling experience preferred
